Print Retouch
Dye Blending
Dyes are applied to the finished print to smooth negative
retouching if necessary, sharpen eyes and faces, touch out stray hairs,
tone down facial shine or hot spots on the print and enhance eyes.
A light touch brings focus and clarity to the subject without seeming to be "touched
up".
Pencil Work
To add or soften catchlights, enhance eye or hair color. This method requires the print to be sprayed with lacquer to even out the texture of the paper with the pencils and seal in the artwork.
